Marketing Operations Director

Quiq is looking for a Director of Marketing Operations who will build on our current systems to optimize and enhance our processes to enable marketing and sales to operate more effectively. This is the job for you if you are excited to (1) build a full funnel marketing operations infrastructure, (2) drive campaign development, and (3) dive into data and derive insights to inform data-driven decisions. In this role you will build dynamic and automated marketing programs to drive efficiency and scalability while having a significant impact on overall company growth and revenue. The best person for this role has experience working in various systems, like Marketo, Salesforce, and WordPress, to develop processes to improve customer experiences, increase engagement, and optimize workflows. Experience working with and analyzing data is essential to this role. Confidence and conviction working with the executive team and decision makers is a must.

The Marketing Operations Director will report into the SVP of Marketing, and can be based anywhere in the United States.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, build, and scale the Marketing Operations function; develop Marketo and Salesforce programs and campaigns to execute on strategic marketing and sales initiatives.

  • Evaluate current tech stack and systems, make recommendations, and implement enhancements.

  • Own lead forecasting and partner with marketing leadership to set quarterly and annual targets across functions.

  • Develop and operate reporting dashboards to provide real-time insights into campaign performance, manage leads, track activity, ensure quality, and measure marketing and sales KPIs.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to document and implement processes to optimize marketing and sales systems. Conduct regular analysis of marketing programs to surface key insights and recommendations to help inform our overall marketing strategy.

  • Maintain a data-driven approach to keep accurate information and gain business intelligence to inform decision-making.

  • Execution of lead nurture programs to improve lead to opportunity conversion.

  • Quarterly iteration of our lead scoring model to route and prioritize leads properly and to trigger automated nurture campaigns as appropriate.

  • Manage technical aspects and optimization of the marketing tech stack, ensuring seamless data flow between Salesforce, Marketo, Salesloft, and other systems and platforms.

  • Improve and maintain the data quality within our systems including compliance in accordance with data privacy rules and regulations.

Who You Are

  • Strong organizational and cross-functional leadership skills

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

  • Deep analytical skills, demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues, and ability to evaluate alternative and make compelling recommendations based on solid business case analysis.

  • Must be fluent in Excel (including; Pivot Tables and V Lookups), deep expertise in Salesforce, and working knowledge of Marketo. Salesloft experience is a plus.

  • Creative mindset, bringing new ideas and perspectives to solve problems.

  • Self-motivated and execution-oriented.

  • Deep knowledge of the marketing campaign process from idea to production.

  • Excited about creating processes and infrastructure that support the development of great work.

  • Forward thinking and the ability to foster innovation and creativity.

Bonus If You Have

  • Marketo Certified Expert.

  • Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced B2B SaaS startup environment.

  • Experience in Customer Support, Customer Experience, and/or conversational AI.
